DEKRA at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo 2019 in Stuttgart

The international expert organization DEKRA will be presenting its services in the field of "Homologation and Product Testing" from May 21st to 23rd at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe (Hall 8 | Stand No. 8244) in Stuttgart. The trade fair deals with test, inspection and development procedures in the automotive industry. It is one of the most important events of its kind in Europe and dedicated to the latest technologies and services for improving the quality, safety, reliability and durability of vehicles. DEKRA will also be present at the Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo (Hall 6 | Stand no. AV7030) in Stuttgart. You can expect to find topics related to advanced technologies for the development of autonomous vehicles such as from indispensable building blocks and systems, including AI learning and virtual environments, deep learning systems, validation of autonomous systems and more.
With its corporate vision of becoming the global partner for a safe world, DEKRA supports the development of future solutions for safe mobility. DEKRA offers comprehensive services for the automotive industry from a single source: various test, inspection and certification services, e.g. type approvals, development and benchmarking, safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency (RF) technologies, wireless technologies and mobile applications, photometry and lighting, pedestrian protection and driver assistance systems, automated and connected driving, field tests on the open road, damage analysis and cyber security.
To this end, DEKRA is gradually expanding its international laboratory network for electric vehicles and the so-called Internet of Vehicles (IoV) and offering two large test fields: one for automated driving in Klettwitz (Brandenburg, Germany) and one for connected driving in Málaga (Spain). DEKRA will thus assume an active pioneering role in the development and implementation of the necessary testing standards in the coming years.

At the DEKRA booths expect:
