CertifAI was founded at the end of 2022 by DEKRA, PwC Germany, and the Hamburg city government (through its Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg). The joint venture’s focus is on providing services geared toward delivering solutions and meeting customer needs, specializing in testing and certification of individual AI products and components with a specific focus on Germany. The company also works to ensure compliance with industry-specific norms and standards, such as those found in the automotive manufacturing and health industry, in order to ensure that AI is used in a safe, secure and trustworthy manner.
AIShield
AIShield, a Bosch startup specializing in AI Application Security, has announced a strategic partnership with DEKRA, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services. The collaboration aims to enhance the security of AI models and systems through advanced training, assessment, and protection, ensuring the deployment of trustworthy AI models and systems. The partnership will focus on AI security and adherence to relevant standards and regulations, including the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and MITRE ATLAS and ENISA's recommendations. AIShield and DEKRA are dedicated to accelerating AI adoption while ensuring cyber-resilience and compliance across industries. AIShield will provide the technology for security testing and evaluation of AI models, while DEKRA will leverage its expertise in testing and certification. The partnership aims to foster safe and trustworthy AI adoption across various industries, including Automotive, Manufacturing, Banking, Healthcare, Telecom, and Critical Infrastructure.

DEKRA and LatticeFlow are partnering to help customers deploy advanced AI models, while ensuring safety and trustworthiness through AI assessment services. DEKRA and LatticeFlow, the leading AI development and deployment platform for continuously improving model performance, announced the formation of a strategic partnership to provide AI safety assessments for enterprise clients. The collective offering will deliver the industry’s first AI model assessment service, following the latest ISO standards for data quality and model robustness.
