Chemical Analysis of Materials & Substances
Chemical Analysis of Materials & Substances for Identification, Chemical Composition and Safety
Chemical analysis characterizes the chemical components in a material which helps to identify unknown materials or verify that the material meets the required conditions.
Material analysis can also be used to trace harmful chemical substances on components and different products. This provides the support you need to comply with chemical and mechanical safety requirements, helping to protect the end users and the environment from unnecessary risks.
About Chemical Analysis of Materials & Substances
The chemical composition of materials is determined using spectral analysis under laboratory conditions. In the laboratories DEKRA uses top of the line stationary analysis equipment. For mobile applications in our customers' systems or on large test objects that are difficult to mobilize, DEKRA also has mobile spectral analysis devices.
Using scanning electron microscopy, DEKRA can also detect foreign particles on components as part of damage analyses. In addition, other sophisticated analysis techniques such as PXRD, XRF and special methodologies are available for your needs in analyzing polymers, compounds and metals.
