A safe partnership.

DEKRA says THANK YOU...

...for 31 years of DTM.

With the falling of the chequered flag on November 8, 2020, a more than 30-year era of the DTM ended. The spectacular sound of turbocharged engines of Audi and BMW touring cars faded away after race director Sven Stoppe waved the black and white chequered flag to the 16 cars on the start-finish straight of the Hockenheimring. Reason enough for DEKRA and the technical inspection team to say “THANK YOU” and to look back on the many years spent together. Because DEKRA, as Official Technical Partner of DTM, has been there almost from the very beginning – during rain and sunshine, on day and night, as well as in good and less good moments.
The technical inspection team thanks all teams, manufacturers, drivers, mechanics, partners, race tracks, helpers, fans, the DMSB and ITR for 31 great years.
We are looking forward to the challenges of the ”new” DTM in 2021 and wish you lots of fun with the DEKRA “THANK YOU” movie.
