The security of electronic devices and their components has become critical in recent times. Microcontrollers, SoCs and SiPs are used across different product markets, and their security is important, not only on its own, but also in providing secure services on device and application level.
In this panel discussion, challenges in security for the SoC ecosystem will be addressed. Important challenges for the community to work on include conformance to upcoming regulations and certification in a global landscape and across different verticals.

Master in Telecommunications, he has worked in different areas related to the definition of Communication services (MPLS, SDN networks…) and IT services (Cybersecurity and Cloud services) and is currently focused on Testing, Inspection and Certification services in the Cybersecurity field. He has been working in Telefónica for 13 years and joined DEKRA more than one year ago as Technical Sales Manager in the Cybersecurity Hub, where DEKRA provides security evaluations against the most relevant standards and certification schemes.

Anders Möller
Senior Cybersecurity Specialist and R&D Manager in DEKRA
Anders Olof Möller, PhD, is a Senior Security Specialist and Manager for R&D within the DEKRA Cybersecurity Hub. He has ten years of experience as a security specialist and manager in the Swedish Armed Forces and Swedish National Communication Security Authority. He has a broad expertise in many security topics, especially security evaluation of communication systems and of integrated circuits, side-channel analysis, fault-injection attacks and cryptography. He received a master´s degree in applied physics and electrical engineering from Linköping University, Sweden, during which he spent one year at the Technische Universität München, Germany and one at ETSIT Polytechnical University of Madrid, Spain. After graduating, he continued at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, with a PhD in applied mathematics, specializing in optimization and systems theory with applications in telecommunications.

Security Certification Expert & Team Lead in NXP
Georg Stütz is Security Certification Expert and team lead in NXP Semiconductors. Based in Graz, Austria, Georg has worked in the security certification domain since 2012, on Common Criteria, EMVCo, MIFARE, SESIP and other private certification schemes. Georg and his team are driving security certification for IoT and Automotive for instance by helping develop the SESIP certification standard.
Bruno Mussard
Wireless MCU Security Manager in STMicroelectronics
After graduating from the Centrale Méditerranée School in 1993 with a degree in Semiconductor Physics, Bruno started his career at ST as a Chip Designer and then led various technical and commercial positions in other large and medium size companies focusing on chip design, advanced memory technology and embedded security. Today, he is back to ST with a position of Wireless Microcontroller Security Manager, covering STM32 wireless microcontrollers. He is responsible for defining the security features of STM32 wireless portfolio to simplify and accelerate the development of trusted and connected solutions by ST customers. This definition is done in conformance to the Global Platform SESIP security standard as an enabler to demonstrate product robustness against security attacks and accelerate customer application security certification at the IoT device level.
