This claim is guaranteed because DEKRA Testing and Certification has its impartiality monitored. To this end, DEKRA Testing and Certification has established a steering committee comprising representatives from manufacturers, operators, users, science and research, and market surveillance. This committee meets at regular intervals to discuss all open issues relating to impartiality and quality that affect DEKRA Testing and Certification.
DEKRA Testing and Certification is financed primarily from testing and certification activities. Our aim is to fulfill and actively live the values that we test for our customers. Only in this way, as a service provider and role model, can we deliver our services in a credible and customer-oriented manner. Our own management system and transparency, both internally and externally, form the basis for this.
All employees of DEKRA Testing and Certification, including management, executives, and staff, follow the principles of impartiality, objectivity, and integrity in their daily work. This means that we cannot provide advice on the technical implementation of standard or guideline requirements.
    DEKRA Testing and Certification maintains a quality management system for certification and inspection bodies as well as for testing laboratories in accordance to the standards DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021, DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065 to ensure the quality of its services.
