Power tools and machinery are indispensable in many workplaces today. Their safe and reliable operation is essential for protecting the health — and, where applicable, the physical integrity — of users. Our testing services verify whether your products meet the applicable safety requirements, including those set out in Annex I of Directive 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive) for Europe

Our Services

In order to ensure safe operation of power tools and thus reduce the risk of accidents, power tools must meet high safety requirements in terms of electrical and mechanical safety.
As a DAkkS accredited testing laboratory, as a laboratory of the GS body and also as an accredited laboratory in the CB scheme, we also evaluate the functional safety and cybersecurity of your power tools. In doing so, we are guided by the requirements applicable in Europe in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Outside of Europe, exporters may have to fulfil further national or regional requirements; the IECEE system for electrical equipment is particularly important here.
Our experts also test and certify the following machines, which are listed in Annex IV of the Machinery Directive and Annex I of the Machinery Regulation:

    3. Carrying out the Tests: Our experts test and inspect your electrical products in our test laboratory or, if required, at your premises.
    4. Report and certificat: After successful testing, you will receive the test report and, if applicable, the certificate.
