Testing and Certification of Protective Clothing
When handling hazardous substances and when performing tasks in harmful environmental conditions, the use of suitable protective clothing is necessary. DEKRA conducts EU type-examinations and certifies protective clothing in accordance with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
DEKRA also tests protective clothing for compliance with
- vfdb Directive 0801 (selection of chemical protection suits for fire department deployment)
- vfdb Directive 0806 (selection of protective suits for use against infectious agents for fire department deployment)
