Respiratory Protection: Certification of (Powered) Air-purifying respirators according to PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425

The certification of air-purifying respirators according to the PPE Regulation is prescribed by law so that the user is protected from hazards such as particles, gases or vapors when there is an adequate oxygen concentration in the ambient air.

Our experts test and certify your breathing apparatus in accordance with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425:
  • Gas and combination filters according to EN 14387 and DIN 58620
  • Particle filters according to EN 143
  • Air-purifying half masks according to EN 149 and EN 405
  • Powered air purifying respirators (PAPR) according to EN 12941 and EN 12942
