At DEKRA’s DAkkS-accredited test laboratory in Stuttgart, Germany, our experts bring extensive expertise and many years of experience in vehicle testing and assessment. We offer comprehensive testing and certification services for your e-bikes and their components to support compliance and market readiness.
We perform tests on various types of electric bicycles, including:
- City and trekking e-bikes
- E-mountain bikes (E-MTB)
- Electrically powered assisted cycles (EPAC) / e-bikes 25 / pedelecs 25
Our range of services:
- Safety tests in accordance with EN 15194, DIN EN 17404 and DIN EN ISO 4210 Part 3-9
- Component testing for safety requirements and safety-related performance requirements
- Range tests, such as R 200 for e-bikes
- Range height tests, such as R 300 for e-MTBs
- Quality tests and benchmark tests according to customer requirements
In our test laboratory in Klettwitz, which is a notified testing and certification body for vehicle homologation, we also offer type approvals/homologation for small electric vehicles, such as e-scooters. We perform testing and certification services in accordance with the Small Electric Vehicles Ordinance (eKFV) and S-pedelecs or L-vehicles in accordance with EU Vehicle Regulation 168/2013.
