EmpowHER

EmpowHER is a dynamic training program tailored exclusively for the women of DEKRA. This initiative focuses on honing essential skills like leadership and communication, offering coaching, and fostering a supportive community.

It provides the space to thrive in a network of like-minded women, fostering opportunities and valuable connections.The program spans approximately six months and is conducted in small groups, ensuring personalized attention and growth.

Additionally, EmpowHER is available in five languages, catering to the diverse needs of our global workforce.

EmpowHER not only equips DEKRA women for success but also promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, celebrating the unique contributions of women across the organization.

The International Advancement Program (IAP) is our development program for future talents for international leadership roles within DEKRA.

Therefore, the program offers a diverse range of learning opportunities to equip participants with a broad spectrum of management skills.

The program spans approximately six months and comprises five different training modules, and a project work, culminating in a final presentation to DEKRA's Board and selected Executive Vice Presidents.

Upon successful completion of the program, IAP graduates will automatically become part of the IAP Alumni Network. This network will continue to support their development and networking for an additional two years.

The annual Organizational Talent Review (OTR) aims to ensure that we have qualified internal candidates ready to fill key leadership positions as they become available. During this process, managers identify talents within their teams and nominate potential successors for their own roles.

By identifying talents regularly, developing them systematically and discussing them whenever we have a global management position to fill, we ensure high leadership quality.

The long-term goal is to fill majority of leadership vacancies internally. Additionally, this process supports the medium-term goal of increasing the number of women in leadership positions.

Our comprehensive onboarding program is designed to familiarize newcomers with our company culture, values, and your colleagues and specific role within our testing, certification, and inspection framework. By offering continuous support and resources, we aim to make the journey with us a positive and fulfilling experience.

During the onboarding period, newcomers will receive comprehensive training tailored to their position, ensuring they possess all the requisite tools and knowledge for success in the DEKRA world.

Furthermore, they will have regular check-ins to discuss their progress, address any concerns, and celebrate their achievements. We are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring newcomers always have someone to answer their questions and offer support.
