Oct 15, 2025

The racing series DTM and DEKRA are continuing their long-standing partnership. The international expert organization and the German automobile association ADAC, promoter of the racing series, are extending their cooperation. More than 35 years into the partnership, DEKRA will remain the official technical partner of the DTM and responsible for technical scrutineering in the series.

  • International expert organization responsible for technical approval
  • BMW M2 Cup to become part of the cooperation from 2026
  • DEKRA is a partner of all ADAC professional circuit racing series
DEKRA's involvement will be expanded in the future to include the BMW M2 Cup, which ADAC will launch as a new entry-level series within the DTM starting in the 2026 season. In addition, DEKRA also holds an official partner role in the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany – in the latter series, DEKRA experts are also responsible for technical scrutineering. This means that the company is represented in all ADAC professional circuit series. The partnership will be visible, among other things, through the DEKRA logo on the start numbers of all vehicles.
“DEKRA has been standing for safety for 100 years. We have also been fulfilling this mission, which is firmly anchored in our DNA, for decades in the DTM. Our colleagues are responsible for ensuring that the regulations are complied with so that everyone involved is safe“, says Guido Kutschera, Executive Vice President of the DEKRA Group responsible for business in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. ”We are very pleased to be continuing our joint success story.”
“The DTM and DEKRA have been closely linked for many years”, emphasizes ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss. “The fact that our cooperation has been in place for well over three decades is impressive proof of how successful and trusting this partnership is. DEKRA's experience and expertise are a decisive factor in the safety and professionalism of our racing series.”
