Through tests on hand-held electric tools in accordance with EN 50632

The quality of hand-held electric tools is not just determined by criteria such as longevity, durability, ergonomics and working results, but also essentially by user safety. This is primarily a question of injury to users and third parties. As an innovative testing service provider, DEKRA evaluates the dust extraction systems of hand-held electric tools with reproducible dust measurements in accordance with standards series EN 50632. Here, DEKRA offers manufacturers of hand-held electric tools proof that they adhered to dust limit values in accordance with the most varied of requirements. Whether it be EU requirements, requirements of trade associations or even workplace regulations, DEKRA classifies the tool and operates it in an independent test report. The type of measurement configuration follows the requirements of the part of standard EN 50632 which is relevant to the electric tool in question.

DEKRA tests using two testing procedures simultaneously. The first is a purely gravimetric measuring procedure and the other is a combined photometric-gravimetric procedure.
