For almost 100 years, DEKRA has been striving for more safety and security on the road, at work, and at home. At the IAA TRANSPORTATION, the expert organization showed its solutions for a safe commercial vehicle world.

The IAA TRANSPORTATION, previously called IAA Commercial Vehicles, was held again for the first time after a four-year break due to the pandemic. DEKRA was also on site in Hanover from September 20th to 25th, 2022, to engage with customers and members. At Stand C49 in Hall H12, the expert organization showed how it is preparing for the future issues of automated and connected driving and cybersecurity.
These are all issues with a significant impact on transport and logistics companies. The industry is currently facing all kinds of challenges. As part of the supply chains, companies must keep their production equipment and vehicles up to date and ensure that cockpits are manned by drivers. Only then will the lifeline of the economy continue to function – worldwide.
Global presence in around 60 countries
DEKRA has been supporting the industry for almost 100 years now. The former German Motor Vehicle Inspection Association, founded in Berlin in 1925, has become one of the world’s leading expert organizations. Almost 48,000 employees work in around 60 countries on all five continents.
With qualified and independent expert services, they strive for safety and security on the road, at work, and at home. The portfolio ranges from vehicle inspections and appraisals to claims settlement, industrial and construction inspection, safety and security consulting, and the testing and certification of products and systems, as well as training services and temporary employment.
