CBAM Regulation: Fundamentals Training
Operational Implementation and Registration
CBAM is entering its definitive phase and brings binding regulatory and financial obligations for EU importers. Companies importing more than 50 tons per year of CBAM-covered goods must register as authorized CBAM declarants, capture embedded emissions in line with the rules, and purchase CBAM certificates. This training provides a structured, practice-oriented introduction to the definitive phase: understand the legal framework, assess CBAM applicability, define internal responsibilities, and prepare your organization for operational implementation and registration.
Regulatory Framework
The training is based on the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Regulation (EU) 2023/956. It covers reporting obligations and key requirements of the definitive phase starting in 2026, including registration as an authorized CBAM declarant and compliance with ongoing regulatory obligations.
