Harmful substances that damage the environment or human health must be avoided when selecting product components. DEKRA is the competent partner by your side for all matters of quality assurance, for goods-in inspections and in providing proof of quality for your customers.

DEKRA supports you with accredited laboratory analysis in adhering to the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EC) for electrical and electronic equipment. In terms of goods-in inspections and quality assurance, if required, we can carry out sample tests or full analyses for you.

Our analysis spectrum covers:

Impure raw materials can contaminate rubber and plastic products with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). Due to their carcinogenic effect, the PAH regulation (1272/2013/EU) has tightened the limit value from annex 17 of the REACH regulation for consumer goods which come into contact with human skin or mouth, for example, sports equipment, household utensils, tools, clothing, promotional items, toys as well as items for newborn babies and toddlers. The categories and limit values of the document AfPS GS 2014:01 PAH are used to award the GS mark. In our accredited laboratories in Germany and China, we carry out the necessary analyses for you – quickly and reliably.
