DEKRA has expanded its mechanized and industrial inspection business in the United States through the acquisition of JAMKO’s business operations based in Lyons, New York. JAMKO specializes in remote mechanized visual inspection in nuclear and municipal markets.
JAMKO represents a significant presence in the nuclear and municipal industrial inspection markets in the northeastern United States delivering services to well-known customers.
With this transaction, DEKRA has added to the portfolio of DEKRA’s North American Industrial Inspections subsidiary, Core Visual Inspection Services, Inc. Joakim Wikeby, Executive Vice-President of the DEKRA Service Division Industrial Inspection, commented, “We are excited to offer our customers in North America highly specialized experts, deep experience, and additional technology platforms that we will continue to develop together.”
