Individual harmful substances, mixtures of substances, dusts, gases, aerosols and vapours may constitute air pollution at the workplace or even exceed workplace limits (AGW, formerly MAK).

DEKRA offers you extensive chemical laboratory services for workplace analysis when dealing with hazardous substances. Our laboratory supports your in-house measuring teams and personnel with everything to do with sampling and logistics.

If required, the DEKRA measuring body also offers measurements and risk assessments on site. We are an accredited measuring and testing laboratory according to Art. 9 Para. 6 of the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Substances with workplace limits:

  • Aerosols: Inhalable and respirable dust content, metals, diesel engine emissions (DEE), organic contents
  • Fibre dusts Asbestos fibres, other inorganic carcinogenic fibre dusts
  • Inorganic gases and vapours: Halogens, hydrogen halides, other inorganic acids, non-metal oxides
  • Organic gases and vapours: simple solvents, alcohols, aldehydes, phenols, glycol derivatives, amines, epoxides, organic acids, acrylates
  • Selected parameters (cooling lubricants, PAH, iscyanates)
  • Other compounds on request.

DEKRA also provides you with comprehensive consultancy services on all matters to do with the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances, the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances and occupational health and safety.
